Looking for a Specific Type of Plumber in Warumbul?

Fixed Today Plumbing provides emergency plumbing in Warumbul through 24/7 dispatch from local hubs across Sydney, with the nearest rapid-response coverage coming from our South Sydney and West Sydney bases. Warumbul sits in the Sutherland Shire, where properties range from established family homes to newer developments, and urgent jobs, broken pipes, gas leaks, severe blockages, are sent out immediately with arrival timing confirmed when you book. All attending plumbers are licensed in NSW (Licence 305428C), and the business carries full Public Liability and Workers Compensation insurance, which protects you if accidental property damage or a workplace injury occurs during the work.

We've been operating across Sydney for over 15 years, with a multi-van fleet and 800+ verified customer reviews. South Sydney coverage includes the 2229 postcode, and our family-owned structure means decisions are made quickly without passing through layers of approval. Every job is quoted upfront once scope is confirmed on site onsite, and the fixed price quoted is the price you pay, with no hidden fees added later.

Emergency Plumbing Services in Warumbul

A plumbing emergency in Warumbul, broken pipe, gas leak, or sewer backup, needs immediate professional attention to limit property damage and restore safety. Fixed Today Plumbing operates 24/7 emergency dispatch across the 2229 postcode, with licensed plumbers sent from the nearest available hub (typically South Sydney or West Sydney depending on current job locations and traffic conditions). Urgent jobs are prioritised in the dispatch queue, and you're given an estimated arrival window when booking so you know when to expect the plumber.

Emergency work follows the same process as standard jobs: onsite assessment, scope confirmation, and a fixed price quote before any work starts. The difference is timing, the plumber is dispatched immediately rather than scheduled for a later booking slot. That upfront pricing model still applies even at 3am; the quote is based on the confirmed scope, not inflated because it's after hours. Our vans carry diagnostic tools including camera inspection equipment for blockage location, electronic leak detectors for hidden pipe failures, and high-pressure jetters for clearing obstructions, which means most emergency repairs can be completed on the first visit once parts and access are confirmed.

Gas emergencies require extra care. If you smell gas (the distinctive rotten-egg odour added as a safety signal), don't operate any switches or ignition sources. Evacuate, then call us from outside the property. Our licensed gas fitters (certified under AS/NZS 5601.1 standards) will isolate the supply, locate the leak using combustible gas detectors, and make it safe before explaining the repair options and quoting the permanent fix.

Active water leaks can cause significant damage quickly. If you can safely access the isolation valve (usually near the water meter or under the affected fixture), turning off the water can reduce damage while the plumber is on the way. We'll confirm the valve location and next steps when you call, then dispatch a NSW-licensed plumber to locate the burst section, assess the surrounding pipework, and provide options for repair, ranging from isolated joint replacement to full pipe section renewal if corrosion has spread.

Fixed Upfront Pricing

Every job is quoted before work starts based on confirmed scope. The fixed price you're quoted is the final price, with no surprise charges or hourly rate surprises.

24/7 Immediate Dispatch

Emergency plumbing dispatch operates around the clock. Urgent jobs are sent out first from the nearest available hub, with arrival timing confirmed when you book.

Licensed & Fully Insured

All plumbers hold current NSW licenses (305428C). Full insurance (Public Liability and Workers Compensation) protects you if property damage or workplace injury occurs during the work.

Hot Water Systems

When a hot water unit fails in Warumbul, it's usually noticed in the morning when the first shower runs cold or when rust-coloured water appears from the taps. Fixed Today Plumbing handles hot water repairs, replacements, and new installations across all major system types: electric storage, gas continuous flow, gas storage, and heat pump systems. The most common brands we service are Rheem, Dux, and Rinnai, and we maintain full manufacturer warranties on parts when installed as specified.

System failures typically fall into three categories. Temperature fluctuation (intermittent hot water or sudden cold bursts) often indicates a failing thermostat, sediment buildup around the heating element, or a sacrificial anode rod that's corroded through. Visible rust in the water usually means the anode has failed completely and the tank lining is corroding, which often requires full replacement once the steel has breached. No hot water at all can be an electrical fault (tripped breaker, blown element) in electric systems, or a gas supply issue (pilot light failure, faulty gas valve) in gas systems.

A hot water assessment starts with identifying the system type, age, and current fault symptoms. We test water temperature at multiple taps, check pressure relief valve operation (required by AS/NZS 3500 standards to prevent tank over-pressurisation), inspect visible pipework for leaks, and confirm that tempering valves are fitted and set correctly to prevent scalding (50°C maximum at tap outlets under the National Construction Code). If the system is repairable, we explain what's failed and quote the parts and labour. If it's uneconomical to repair, we provide replacement options matched to your property's water usage, available space, and fuel type (gas or electric).

All gas hot water work must be completed by licensed gas fitters and tested under pressure to confirm the installation is gas-tight before reconnection. We provide compliance documentation where required by local authority or insurance conditions. Electric systems must be installed by a licensed electrician (our plumbers coordinate the electrical connection where needed), and all installations are tested for leaks, correct pressure, and safe operation prior to leaving.

Blocked Drains

Blocked drains in Warumbul properties occur most commonly in kitchen lines (Fat, Oil, and Grease buildup that solidifies and traps solid waste) and external sewer lines (tree root intrusion through cracks in aging terracotta or clay pipes, which are common in properties built from the 1950s through to the early 1980s). Internal blockages usually present as slow drainage or gurgling sounds when water is released, while external sewer blockages often cause multiple fixtures to back up simultaneously because they all feed into the same obstructed line.

Our drainage assessment uses high-definition drain inspection cameras to locate the blockage, identify the pipe material and condition, and determine the best clearing method. The camera is inserted through an access point (usually an inspection opening or cleanout) and pushed along the line until the obstruction is visible. What we see on the camera dictates the approach: soft blockages (paper, waste, grease) can usually be cleared with hydro jetting, while hard obstructions (tree roots, collapsed sections) may require mechanical cutting or structural repair.

High-pressure water jetting uses specialised nozzles that fire water at 3,000 to 5,000 PSI, which pulverises roots and scours grease from pipe walls without damaging the pipe itself when used correctly. For collapsed or severely damaged sections where the pipe structure has failed, trenchless drain relining (a resin-saturated liner cured inside the existing pipe to form a new structural surface) can often avoid excavation under driveways, pathways, or established gardens.

Once the blockage is cleared, we test flow rates and re-inspect with the camera to confirm the line is fully restored. If the camera footage shows deterioration that's likely to cause future blockages (root entry points, joint separation, pipe bellying), we explain what's visible and provide options for preventive work. The footage can be provided to you for records or insurance purposes where relevant.

Leaking Taps

A dripping tap wastes water and increases bills, but the repair is usually straightforward once the cause is identified. Most tap leaks in Warumbul homes occur because internal seals (ceramic discs, rubber washers, or O-rings depending on tap type) have worn out from normal use. The symptom, constant drip from the spout or water seeping around the base, tells us where the seal has failed.

The repair process involves isolating the water supply to that fixture, disassembling the tap body, inspecting the internal components, and replacing worn seals or cartridges. We keep common tap parts on our vans (ceramic disc cartridges, standard washers, spout O-rings), which allows most repairs to be completed immediately. If the tap body itself is corroded or cracked (common in very old brass fixtures), replacement may be more cost-effective than repair, and we provide options based on the fixture age and condition.

Mixer taps (single-lever controls that blend hot and cold water) use cartridge assemblies that wear over time. When a mixer tap drips, it's usually the cartridge that needs replacement rather than individual seals. We identify the tap brand and model, confirm cartridge availability, and quote the repair once the fault is confirmed. Testing after reassembly ensures no further leaks and correct hot/cold mixing operation.

Roof & Gutter Repairs

Roof and gutter leaks in Warumbul properties often show up as water stains on ceilings, damp patches in roof cavities, or overflowing gutters during heavy rain. The cause can be failing roof flashing (the metal seals around penetrations like vents and chimneys), corroded or separated gutter joints, blocked downpipes causing water backup, or damaged roof tiles allowing water entry.

Our assessment identifies where water is entering and what's causing the failure. Roof leaks are traced by inspecting the roof cavity during or after rain to see the active leak path, then checking the external roof surface for damaged tiles, lifted flashing, or gaps around penetrations. Gutter leaks are usually visible as rust-through holes, separated joints, or sagging sections caused by bracket failure.

Repairs range from resealing flashing and replacing damaged tiles to installing new gutter sections or reinforcing bracket supports. Where gutters are consistently overflowing despite being clear of debris, the issue is often undersized downpipes for the roof catchment area, which requires adding additional downpipes to handle the water volume during heavy rain.

After repairs, we test water flow (using a hose to simulate rain) to confirm the leak is resolved and water is draining correctly through the gutter system. Roof work requires safe access and fall protection, which is why we handle these repairs rather than recommending DIY approaches.

Shower Repairs

Shower faults in Warumbul properties typically present as dripping showerheads, leaking mixer taps (the wall-mounted controls that adjust temperature and flow), or water seeping through tiled walls and causing damage to adjacent rooms. Each symptom points to a different component failure.

A dripping showerhead after the water is turned off usually means the mixer tap's internal seals have worn out and aren't closing fully. The repair involves accessing the mixer body (sometimes behind a tiled wall, depending on installation), replacing the cartridge or seals, and testing for correct shut-off. Leaking around the showerhead connection to the arm is typically a worn washer or thread seal, which is a quick replacement once the head is unscrewed.

Water penetrating through tiles and causing damp patches or ceiling damage in rooms below indicates failed waterproofing membrane, which is a structural issue rather than just a plumbing fault. The membrane sits behind the tiles and prevents water from reaching the substrate. When it fails, water tracks through grout lines or tile cracks and damages the framework. This requires stripping the affected area, re-waterproofing to Australian plumbing standards (AS 3740), and re-tiling, which is why early detection (soft or spongy tiles, visible water stains) is important.

For shower screen leaks, the issue is usually degraded seals or incorrect installation angles causing water to run outside the screen instead of toward the drain. We inspect screen alignment, test water direction during use, and replace seals or adjust positioning to contain water within the shower area.

Toilet Repairs

Common toilet faults in Warumbul homes include continuous running (water flowing into the bowl after flushing stops), weak flush that doesn't clear waste effectively, leaking from the base, and cistern components that have failed or stuck. Each fault has a typical cause that can usually be identified during a visual inspection.

A continuously running toilet typically means the flush valve seal isn't seating properly (often due to mineral buildup or a worn rubber seal), or the fill valve isn't shutting off because the float mechanism is faulty. Both waste significant water. The repair involves replacing the failed component, adjusting the float height if needed, and testing the flush cycle to confirm proper fill and shut-off.

Weak flush is often caused by blocked rim jets (the small holes under the toilet rim that direct water into the bowl during flushing), insufficient water volume within the cistern, or a partially blocked trap. We check water level, clear rim jets using descaling methods if mineral buildup is present, and test flush force after adjustment.

Leaking from the toilet base usually indicates a failed wax seal (the ring that seals the toilet outlet to the floor flange). This requires removing the toilet, replacing the seal, checking the flange for damage, and re-seating the pan. If the flange is cracked or corroded, it needs repair or replacement before the toilet is reinstalled, otherwise the leak will return.

Our vans carry common toilet parts (flush valves, fill valves, seals, cistern buttons), which allows immediate repair in most cases. If the pan itself is cracked (which can't be repaired reliably), we provide replacement options and explain what's involved in removing the old pan and installing a new one.

Gas Fitting

Gas work in Warumbul properties must be completed by licensed gas fitters due to the safety risks involved: gas leaks can cause explosions, fires, or asphyxiation if natural gas or LPG accumulates in an enclosed space. Fixed Today Plumbing holds current gas fitting licences under NSW regulations, and all gas installations are tested and certified to AS/NZS 5601.1 standards.

Gas services include new appliance connections (cooktops, ovens, hot water systems, space heaters), gas leak detection and repair, meter upgrades, and gas line extensions. Each installation follows a standard process: shut off the gas supply at the meter, install or modify pipework using approved materials and jointing methods, pressure-test the system to confirm it's gas-tight (no pressure drop over the test period), reconnect supply, and test appliance operation.

Gas leak detection uses combustible gas detectors that identify trace amounts of gas in the air, allowing us to pinpoint leak locations even when they're not immediately obvious. A gas leak is identified by the distinctive mercaptan odour (added to natural gas as a safety signal), hissing sounds near appliances or pipework, or dead vegetation over underground gas lines. If you smell gas, isolate the supply at the meter if safe to do so, ventilate the area, and call from outside the property. Don't operate electrical switches or create ignition sources.

After any gas repair or modification, we test appliance operation, check burner flame colour and pattern (blue flame indicates correct combustion; yellow or orange suggests incomplete combustion and requires adjustment), and provide a compliance certificate where required by regulation. The certificate is your proof that the work meets safety standards and may be needed for insurance or property sale purposes.

Burst & Leaking Pipes

A burst pipe in a Warumbul property can release significant water volume quickly, causing immediate property damage. The most common causes are corrosion in older galvanised steel pipes (common in pre-1980s homes), water hammer (pressure surge from rapid tap closure that stresses pipe joints), and physical damage from impact or ground movement.

When a pipe bursts, the immediate priority is isolating the water supply to limit damage. If you can safely access the isolation valve (usually at the meter or under the affected fixture), turning it off stops the flow while you wait for the plumber. We'll guide you through this on the phone if needed, then dispatch immediately to assess the damage.

The repair process starts with locating the burst section, which may require electronic testing for leaks if the pipe is concealed in walls or under floors. Once located, we assess surrounding pipe condition, if the burst is caused by widespread corrosion, adjacent sections are likely to fail soon, which affects the repair approach. Options range from isolated pipe section replacement (cutting out the damaged section and installing new pipe) to full re-piping if corrosion has spread through multiple sections.

For concealed pipes, access often requires cutting into walls or lifting floorboards. We minimise disruption by identifying the smallest access point that allows proper repair, and we use drop sheets and protective coverings to protect surrounding finishes. After the repair, we test water pressure, check for leaks at the new joints, and confirm flow rates are restored before repairing the access point or arranging for a builder to complete cosmetic repairs.

Concealed leaks that haven't burst yet (slow seepage behind walls or under floors) are identified through moisture detection, thermal imaging, or acoustic leak testing methods that pinpoint the leak location without invasive searching. Early detection limits damage and reduces repair scope.

Strata Plumbing

Plumbing in strata properties across Warumbul requires coordination with owners corporations, property managers, and occupants to minimise disruption and meet access requirements. Fixed Today Plumbing provides strata plumbing services covering both lot-specific repairs (individual unit fixtures) and common property infrastructure (shared drainage lines, water mains, hot water systems serving multiple units).

Strata work follows a standard approach: confirm who's responsible for the repair (lot owner or owners corporation based on the strata plan and common property boundaries), obtain access permissions and scheduling windows, complete the work with minimal noise and disruption, and provide documentation suitable for strata records and insurance claims.

Common strata plumbing issues include shared drainage blockages affecting multiple units, hot water system failures serving common property or multiple lots, water leak identification where the source crosses lot and common property boundaries, and fixture repairs in common areas like laundries and building entry points. Each requires clear communication about responsibility, access timing, and completion expectations.

For urgent strata repairs (broken pipes in common property, sewer backups affecting multiple units), we coordinate directly with the strata manager or building manager to arrange immediate access and confirm the scope before starting. For planned maintenance, we work within the scheduled scheduled access windows and provide advance notice to affected residents where required by the strata plan.

Documentation for strata work includes photos of the work area before and after, explanation of what was found and what was repaired, parts lists, and compliance records where applicable (gas certificates, backflow prevention compliance). This documentation supports strata record-keeping and provides evidence if insurance claims are needed.

General Plumbing Services

Day-to-day plumbing in Warumbul covers non-emergency repairs, fixture installations, routine maintenance, and preventive inspections. Fixed Today Plumbing handles the full range of residential and light commercial plumbing work, scheduled around your availability rather than dispatched urgently.

Common general plumbing jobs include replacing old fixtures (taps, shower heads, toilet pans), installing new appliances requiring water connection (dishwashers, washing machines, water filters), repairing leaking pipe joints, clearing slow drains before they block completely, and upgrading fixtures to improve water efficiency or match renovation work.

The process for scheduled work is similar to emergency repairs but with planned timing: book an appointment at a time that suits you, the plumber assesses the job onsite and provides a fixed-price quote, you decide whether to proceed, and if you approve the quote, the work is completed and tested before departing. For jobs requiring parts that aren't on the van, we order them and schedule a return visit once they arrive.

Preventive plumbing inspections identify potential issues before they become emergencies. An inspection covers visible pipework (checking for corrosion, loose joints, poor support), drainage flow (testing whether fixtures drain slowly, which indicates partial blockages), fixture operation (taps, toilets, shower mixers), water heater condition (checking for rust, testing pressure relief valve, inspecting for leaks), and water pressure at multiple taps (high pressure can stress fixtures; low pressure can indicate supply issues or partially closed valves).

Where issues are identified during an inspection, we explain what's wrong, what's likely to happen if left unrepaired, and provide options with fixed pricing. There's no obligation to proceed with repairs immediately, you can schedule them for a later date or handle them yourself if they're within your capability. The goal is to give you clear information so you can decide what's urgent and what can wait.

Emergency Plumbing

When a broken pipe floods a bathroom at midnight or a gas leak forces evacuation on a weekend, you need a NSW-licensed plumber dispatched immediately, not a booking slot three days away. Fixed Today Plumbing operates 24/7 emergency plumbing dispatch for Warumbul, with urgent jobs prioritised ahead of scheduled maintenance regardless of the time or day.

Emergency situations typically involve active water leaks causing property damage, gas leaks creating safety hazards, complete loss of water supply, sewer backups affecting occupied areas, or water heater failures in cold weather (particularly for households with young children, elderly occupants, or medical needs). If the situation is causing immediate damage, risk, or significant disruption, it's treated as an emergency and dispatched accordingly.

The emergency response process starts when you call: we confirm the situation, provide brief safety guidance if needed (how to isolate water or gas if safe to do so), dispatch the nearest available properly licensed plumber, and give you an estimated arrival window based on their current location and traffic conditions. The plumber arrives with diagnostic equipment and common parts, assesses the situation onsite, explains what's failed and what needs to happen to make it safe, and provides a fixed-price quote before starting the permanent repair.

Emergency work isn't about temporary patches. The goal is a permanent resolution backed by our Lifetime Labour Warranty on workmanship. In rare cases where a permanent fix requires parts not on the van or access that can't be arranged immediately, we'll make the situation safe (isolate the leak, shut off affected systems, contain damage) and schedule the full repair once parts and access are confirmed. You're told exactly what's been done, what's still needed, and when we'll return to complete it.

Pricing for emergency work follows the same fixed-price model as scheduled jobs. The quote is based on the scope of work required, not inflated because it's after hours. That transparency is maintained regardless of timing because the work is priced by the job, not by the hour. You can decide whether to proceed once the scope and price are confirmed, even at 2am.

Commercial Plumbing Solutions

Commercial plumbing work in Warumbul differs from residential work in scale, compliance requirements, and the cost of downtime. Fixed Today Plumbing services commercial properties including retail shops, office buildings, medical centres, hospitality venues, and light industrial sites, with a focus on minimising operational disruption and meeting workplace safety standards.

Commercial plumbing encompasses high-use fixtures (commercial-grade toilets and basins designed for constant use), large-capacity hot water systems, grease trap installation and maintenance for food service businesses, backflow prevention devices required by Sydney Water to protect mains supply from contamination, and drainage systems handling higher waste volumes than residential properties.

Scheduled commercial work is coordinated around your operating hours; completed after closing, before opening, or during low-traffic periods to avoid customer impact. For 24-hour operations, we work in sections to maintain partial service while repairs are underway. Emergency commercial callouts are prioritised based on operational impact: a burst pipe flooding a retail floor or a sewer backup in a restaurant kitchen is dispatched immediately because every hour of downtime has a measurable cost.

Commercial compliance is more stringent than residential. Work must meet AS 3500 plumbing standards, Workplace Health and Safety requirements, and local authority regulations. Backflow prevention (required for commercial properties to prevent contaminated water from flowing back into mains supply) must be tested annually and compliance documented. Grease traps in food service venues require regular maintenance to prevent fat buildup causing blockages, with maintenance records often required by council health inspectors.

We provide documentation suitable for business records: detailed invoices, photos of work completed, compliance certificates where required, and explanations of what was repaired and why. This supports insurance claims, lease obligations, and regulatory compliance requirements. For multi-site commercial clients, we can coordinate consistent service across multiple Warumbul properties with centralised billing and reporting.

Plumbing FAQ's in Warumbul

The following questions address common concerns we hear from Warumbul residents when booking plumbing work. These answers are grounded in how we actually operate, the scope we cover, and what you can expect when you book. If your specific question isn't covered here, our phone line operates 24/7 and we're happy to clarify before you commit to booking.

How quickly can you reach Warumbul for an emergency?

Emergency dispatch for Warumbul operates 24/7, with the nearest available licensed and insured plumbing technician sent immediately from our South Sydney or West Sydney hubs. Arrival timing depends on current job locations, traffic conditions, and time of day, but urgent jobs are prioritised ahead of scheduled maintenance. We provide an estimated arrival window when you book so you know when to expect the plumber. If you need to limit active damage while waiting (like shutting off water at the meter), we'll guide you through it on the phone.

Do you provide quotes before starting work?

Yes. Every job is assessed onsite first, then quoted as a fixed price before any work starts. The quote covers the confirmed scope (what needs to be done to fix the problem), including parts and labour, with no surprise charges added later. For complex jobs where scope isn't immediately clear (like drainage blockages requiring camera inspection to locate), we explain the diagnostic process first, complete the assessment, then quote the full repair once we know exactly what's involved. You can decide after seeing the quote.

What does your insurance actually cover?

Fixed Today Plumbing carries full Public Liability and Workers Compensation insurance. Public Liability protects you if accidental property damage occurs during our work (for example, a tool slips and damages a finished surface). Workers Compensation covers workplace injury situations involving our staff while they're working on your property. These policies are current and maintained as a condition of holding our NSW plumbing licence. Insurance doesn't cover pre-existing damage or faults unrelated to our work.

Are there call-out fees in Warumbul?

Call-out fee status for Warumbul (postcode 2229) should be confirmed when booking, as it can vary by service type and timing. Many standard service areas have no call-out fee, but it's best to ask upfront so you know exactly what you're paying before the plumber is dispatched. If a call-out fee applies, it's disclosed when you book, not added as a surprise after the plumber arrives.

What causes blocked drains in Warumbul properties?

Blocked drains in Warumbul typically occur due to tree root intrusion in external sewer lines (common in properties with established gardens and older clay or terracotta pipes), or Fat, Oil, and Grease buildup in kitchen drains that solidifies and traps food waste. Internal bathroom blockages are often hair and soap scum accumulation. The cause is identified using CCTV camera inspection, which shows exactly what's blocking the line and whether the pipe itself is damaged. That determines whether the fix is clearing the blockage or repairing structural damage.

How is the fixed price calculated?

The fixed price is based on the scope of work required to complete the repair or installation to Australian plumbing standards. Factors that change the price include the extent of the fault (isolated leak vs. Multiple sections needing replacement), access difficulty (concealed pipes requiring wall or floor access), parts required (standard fixtures vs. Specialised components), and time required onsite to complete and test the work. The price is explained before you approve it, and it doesn't change once work starts unless you request additional scope beyond what was quoted.

What happens if the problem is bigger than expected?

If the initial assessment reveals additional issues beyond the original fault (for example, a drain blockage inspection shows structural pipe damage, or a leaking tap repair uncovers corroded pipework behind the wall), we stop, explain what we've found, and provide options with updated pricing. You decide whether to proceed with the additional work, handle it separately, or get a second opinion. We don't expand scope or add costs without your approval first. The goal is clarity, not surprise invoices.

Do your plumbers carry common parts?

Yes. Our vans carry common plumbing parts including tap washers and cartridges, toilet cistern components, pipe fittings, sections of copper and PVC pipe, isolation valves, and standard fixture seals. This allows most repairs to be completed on the first visit once the fault is identified. For specialised parts (specific hot water unit components, unusual fixture sizes, or commercial-grade hardware), we order them and schedule a return visit once they arrive. You're told immediately if parts need ordering.

Can you work around my schedule for non-urgent jobs?

Yes. Non-emergency plumbing is scheduled at a time that suits you, including evenings and weekends if needed. When booking, we arrange an appointment window, confirm arrival timing, and stick to it unless traffic or a prior emergency delays us (in which case we call ahead to let you know). For strata properties or rentals requiring access coordination with property managers or tenants, we work within the arranged access time windows and provide advance notice where required.

What should I do if I smell gas?

If you smell gas (the rotten-egg odour added as a safety warning), don't operate electrical switches, ignition sources, or anything that could create a spark. Ventilate the area if safe to do so, evacuate the property, and call us from outside. If it's safe and you know where the gas meter is located, you can turn off the supply at the meter before evacuating. Our licensed gas fitters will respond immediately, isolate the supply, locate the leak using detection equipment, make it safe, and then explain the repair options once the immediate risk is controlled.
